One of the few American casinos with a subway stop

Most casinos in the United States are built around a car park and describe transit as an afterthought. The Queens venue is the opposite case, and it is worth setting out properly because the arrangement is genuinely unusual: two different A train stations serve it, one of them connects by a covered bridge straight into the building, and free shuttle loops fill the gaps. All the detail below is taken from the operator's own getting-here page as it stood on 25 August 2026. Schedules change, so treat the times as the state of a published page on a date rather than as a promise about your journey.

The published routes, and their catches

Each of these has a condition attached that is easy to miss on a first read. The conditions are the useful part.

πŸš‡

A train, two stations, not interchangeable

From Manhattan and Brooklyn the published route is the Far Rockaway branch to Aqueduct and North Conduit, then the pedestrian underpass and a free shuttle from the parking lot. From the Rockaways it is the next station north, Aqueduct Racetrack, which exits onto the skybridge.

πŸŒ‰

The skybridge runs one way in practice

The operator's page is explicit that the skybridge route is not available in the Rockaway-bound direction. That is a detail worth carrying with you if you plan to leave the way you arrived.

Two separate free shuttles

One loops between the train station and the casino bus lobby, published as running from 8am to 2am. The other runs hourly between the Jamaica bus depot and the casino, published as 10am to midnight outbound and 10:40am to 11:40pm on the return.

🚏

The Q37 stops inside the property

The published bus option is the Q37, which stops on site and connects to the E and F lines at Kew Gardens and Union Turnpike. For LIRR passengers the published advice is to reach Jamaica and cover the last three miles by car service.

Questions people put into search

Do I need to pay for parking if I drive?

The operator's published position on 25 August 2026 is that self-parking is free and that garage parking is free for Genting Rewards members, with valet offered at 25 dollars for 24 hours and complimentary for two of the higher membership tiers. The directions page also states the site meets the 2010 accessibility standards for accessible parking. We have not parked there and cannot confirm how any of it works in practice.

Is the shuttle timetable reliable?

We have no basis to say. What we can report is that the published schedule lists departures on the hour from the Jamaica depot and at forty minutes past the hour for the return, and that the same page asks passengers to arrive fifteen minutes early. A guide site telling you a bus will be there is making a promise it cannot keep; check the operator's page on the day you travel.

Why does transit access matter for a casino specifically?

Two reasons that pull in opposite directions. It makes the venue reachable without a car in a city where most people do not have one, which is a genuine amenity. It also lowers the friction of an unplanned visit, and low friction is not neutral if gambling is something you are trying to do less of. If that is the situation, the exclusion arrangements described on our responsible gambling page are the relevant tool, not a resolution to take a longer route.
