Questions people put into search
Is an electronic table just a slot machine with a card theme?
Not in the way the two are built. A video slot resolves everything inside software; the automated tables described on this floor keep a physical randomiser — a wheel and ball, or cards dealt inside the cabinet — and move only the betting and settlement to screens. That said, from a bankroll perspective the relevant question is the same for both: the payout schedule of the specific game decides the long-run edge, and the interface does not change it. Why did New York have automated tables and not dealers for so long?
